Abstract:

Records kept by the Division of Correction's Bureau of Probation and Parole on adult and juvenile probationers, parolees, and inmates of correctional institutions discharged between February 1940 and October 1951. The files focus primarily on the probation and parole periods of inmates, and typically include a summary face sheet, chronological history, pre-sentence and parole investigations, medical and psychiatric examination records, and various administrative records relating to confinement, probation, and parole.
