Abstract:

Correspondence, memoranda, reports, and studies documenting state planning efforts in various policy areas, including comprehensive state planning, economic development, environmental policy, land and water use policy, health programs, pollution abatement, regional planning, state development policy, vocational education, urban and rural development, and workforce development. The files also document cooperative efforts with organizations and other state agencies, including the Council on Criminal Justice, Department of Health and Social Services, Department of Natural Resources, Department of Public Instruction, Interagency State Planning Council, the Land Resources Committee, and the Rural Development Council.Also included are several tape recordings of the office's 1974 “Wisconsin - We Care” program.
