Reports and minutes of meetings of several county war history committees; war posters; roster, photographs, and service cards of Sheboygan County soldiers; service cards of Vernon County servicemen; and some correspondence. The soldiers' records and service cards provide personal information about the soldier and his war service. Personal data includes name, place and date of birth, occupation, marital status, parents' names, place of parents' birth, and religious preference. Service information provided includes date of entering service; company and regiment; rank entering service and when mustered out; where trained; date of sailing and arrival in Europe; promotions, honors, and battles; date wounded and/or ill; date of sailing for and arrival in the United States; and date mustered out.
