Abstract:
Correspondence with members of the board, the staff of the Department of Regulation and Licensing, the Attorney General, hospitals, medical organizations, such as the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the Federation of State Medical Boards, the Milwaukee Medical Society, and the State Medical Society of Wisconsin, the Controlled Substances Board, the Board of Examiners in Basic Science, other Wisconsin boards, and other state medical boards. Also included is correspondence with practitioners in medical fields regulated by the Medical Board such as chiropractors, masseurs, midwives, physical therapists, physicians assistants, and podiatrists regarding disciplinary investigations, complaints, and other professional matters. Also included are files on licensing examinations, temporary educational permits, state legislation and rules (especially regarding the use of amphetamines), and other issues concerning licensure.
