Abstract:
Administrative correspondence and subject files of Ernest M. Cardell, S.C. Syverud, and other secretaries of the Chiropractic Examining Board. Included is correspondence with R.A. Nelson, A.T. Weeks, E.J. Wollschlaeger, and other members of the board; with leaders of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association, the Society of Wisconsin Chiropractors, the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board, and the Wisconsin Medical Society; with legislators; with the Department of Regulation and Licensing; and with representatives of Palmer School of Chiropractic and other chiropractic colleges. In addition, there are files on administrative rules and legislation, advertising, continuing education, and information on investigations of clinics and unprofessional practices by the Attorney General and the board. Routine correspondence with chiropractors in Wisconsin and other states concerning licensing, procedures for examinations in chiropractic and basic science, and continuing education requirements has been extensively weeded.
