Abstract:
Correspondence of the World War I Service Recognition Board with disabled Wisconsin veterans. Included are applications for and allowance or disallowance of state payments for their disabilities. The application provides compensation number (by which the records are arranged), rank, enlistment information, the nature of the disability and may include direct correspondence by the veteran. The folders are very fragile and should be handled with care.
