Abstract:
Mine valuation files used as the basis for tax assessment, including correspondence, reports, statistical data, maps, and memoranda submitted to the Division by the Assessor of Incomes, the State Geologist, and owners of mines and mineral lands. The records show names of owners and mines, dates, locations, tonnage, and value of ores shipped or stockpiled for the period 1926-1937. The file also contains one folder of mining companies' dividend statements showing percentages of earned surplus and capital surplus for the period 1913-1928.
