Abstract:

Field notes made by engineers while inspecting and investigating railroad and utility properties for valuations purposes. The handwritten notes include calculations and sketches of installations and terrain, equipment and survey notations. The majority of the notebooks refer to the Milwaukee Electric Railroad and Light Company and to other street railroads.
