Abstract:
A correspondence sample including letters dealing with settlement of disputed claims against insurance companies; inquiries about the financial condition of companies and whether or not they are licensed; and complaints from policy-holders, the public, and insurance companies. In November 1976, from a total of 314 cubic feet of correspondence, a representative sample of 185 boxes was retained and the remaining files were destroyed.
