Incoming and outgoing correspondence of the Compensation Insurance Board, 1918-1933, with employers, insured individuals, and insurance companies. The Compensation Insurance Board existed from 1917 to 1933 during which time it was responsible for worker compensation rate-setting and for regulating insurance companies that offered workers' compensation coverage. Files for the letters A through F in the Individuals and Employer correspondence are incomplete. The Employers Mutual Insurance Company of Wausau, which is documented for the period 1922-1933, is the largest file in the insurance company group. English
