Records of Lumber Inspectors in various districts, particularly District Six (Chippewa Falls) and also District Eleven (Ashland), Fourteen (Merrill), and Seventeen (Rhinelander). Included are log mark records, log scale records, and legal records. Included is information on log marks and the owners represented; amounts of timber and board feet cut and owner's name; reports of salvaged logs; incoming correspondence; and appointments and oaths of deputies.
