Abstract:
State Social Studies Committee records from 1962-1964. Records contain sub-committee reports, newspaper clippings, flow charts and associated comments, and committee member lists and correspondence. In addition, a breakdown by grades (K-12) provides suggested curriculum, activities, and resources presented by the Wisconsin Social Studies Committee and a sample “Wisconsin Resource Unit.” The subject areas of interest are: anthropology-sociology, economics, geography, history, and political science.
