Abstract:

A record of the official acts of the Governor, maintained by the Secretary of State. The record for 1848-1939 notes appointments, commissions, commutations, directives to agents, calling of special elections, executive orders, approval of land sales, pardons, proclamations, requisitions, rewards, and warrants for arrest. The record for 1939-1962 consists of proclamations, interstate motor vehicle agreements, and a few executive orders.
