Abstract:
Papers of Eugene Leach, a Racine, Wisconsin, historian and curator of the Racine County Museum, including an unpublished manuscript, “The Story of Racine County--History.” The collection also contains biographical files on important Racine residents, miscellaneous material relating to county history, and five scrapbooks of clippings describing the involvement of Racine residents in the Spanish-American War and World War I. There are also records of the Racine Senate, 1884-1851, and the Racine Relief Association, 1883-1898.
