Abstract:
Photographs, 1921-1957, primarily group portraits made during conventions of the American Federation of Labor and affiliated unions and committees. Groups and affiliated union locals include the AFL-CIO Committee on Political Education, the AFL-CIO Women's Convention, American Bakery and Confectionery Workers International Union, Chicago Photo Engravers Union, International Association of Marble, Slate and Stone Polishers and Helpers, International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen, United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry, the Wisconsin Federation of Post Office Clerks, and the Wisconsin State Federation of Labor. A commemorative proclamation for W.D. Mahon is also included.
