Photographs, drawings, and prints, 1855-1970s, consisting primarily of outdoor scenes of Wisconsin cities and towns, unincorporated areas and no longer extant communities. Images include residences, municipal and commercial buildings, farms, places of worship, street scenes, railroads, recreation, and other views.
Prints are primarily black and white photographs; color photographs, prints on postcard stock, stereographs, color transparencies, copy photographs of drawings, original drawings, and other materials are also included.
Additional material may have been added since this register's creation. In general, additions to this collection are accumulated until sufficient material warrants integration.
