Abstract:
59 stamp designs that were proposed for the Wisconsin Centennial Stamp Design Contest held by the Milwaukee Philatelic Society in 1948. The sketches are designed for the three-cent U.S. postage stamp to commemorate the 100th Anniversary Centennial of Wisconsin. Most of the drawings are in a single color or black and white, and less than 11 1/2 x 7-inches in size.
