Abstract:
Papers and photographs of Edmund Eisenscher, photographer for the Wisconsin CIO News and a member of Amalgamated Lithographers of America, Local 7 (Milwaukee). Brief papers include correspondence, financial reports, and wage scales from Local 7; minutes of meetings of the Allis-Chalmers West Allis Works Council; scripts and a playbill for performances by the Allis Chalmers Union Players; newsletters, constitution, and by-laws for the New Theater of the Air, an organization for amateur radio actors; and other miscellaneous labor-related material. The most significant portion of the collection is the photographs made by Eisenscher, most of which appeared in the CIO News.
