Abstract:

Photographs and nitrate negatives of Rod Every, circa 1930s, documenting apiary inspections, cleanings, and honey production. Every, a bee inspector for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Division of Entomology, also owned a small farm and apiary in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Also included is a short essay, "Memories of a Bee Inspector's Wife," by Carolyn Every, Rod Every's wife.
