Photographs, circa 1925-1930, of aircraft, factory interiors, parts, fuselage details, engines, designs, experimental works, dirigibles, wind tunnel research, and transport of finished airplanes, as issued by manufacturers, including Curtiss Aero and Motor Company Inc., Ford Motor Company Aircraft Division, Fokker Aircraft Corporation, Hamilton Metalplane Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sikorksy Aviation Corporation, Wright Aeronautical, and others. Images of aircraft used on arctic and other historic flights, and a view of pilots George Wilkins and Ben Eielson posing with the single-engine Lockheed Vega which the two flew from Port Barrow, Alaska to Green Harbor, Spitsbergen in April 1928, are included.
