Personal correspondence of Governor Warren P. Knowles consisting of correspondence with friends, acquaintances, children, and general correspondence with others concerning non-governmental matters. No files for 1965-1966 and 1969 were received by the Archives. The designation “personal correspondence” was applied to this series in the Archives to distinguish this section from the official correspondence; much of the material is not personal in the strict sense.
