Abstract:

Papers of William M. Kraus, a Wisconsin insurance executive and Republican Party leader, pertaining to his chairmanship of the Knowles for Governor reelection campaigns of 1966 and 1968. Included are correspondence with Ody Fish, Paul Hassett, various local political leaders, and representatives of the McDonald Davis public relations firm, memoranda, campaign literature and advertisements, statistics, reports, and vote analyses.
