Abstract:
Records of the Center for Conflict Resolution, a Madison, Wisconsin, organization concerned with studying aspects of social conflict including war, prejudice, and violence and with developing skills and strategies for dealing with such conflicts. The majority of the collection consists of correspondence, press materials and publications, financial records, and program materials including workshops, conferences, conventions, COPRED (Consortium on Peace Research, Education and Development), brochures, evaluations, and organizational information. Also includes material on an informal series of "rap sessions," several project proposals, files and scripts for public services radio spots and for a radio series, minutes of the Non-violent Training and Education Collective, quarterly files documenting programs, and programming files relating to the development and organization of the CCR’s mediation and facilitation efforts.
