Abstract:
Records of the Dane County Social Planning Agency, a federation of Wisconsin public and private social agencies, and of its predecessor, the Community Welfare Council; including correspondence, annual meeting minutes, membership lists, financial records, project and personnel reports, and reference files on other social service agencies. The agency was a central planning body for community services and was originally established by the United Community Chest. The collection highlights the operations of several programs including the Institute for Simulation Analysis, the Madison Youth Council, and the Voluntary Action Center.
