Abstract:
Papers of Edmon D. Upson, an itinerant Methodist minister who was an evangelist in lumber camps, and later served as a pastor in Hebron, Peshtigo, Verona, Middleton, Waupun, Whitehall, and Madison, Wisconsin. Included are diaries; church record books from Waupun, 1897-1898, and Whitehall, 1915-1916; a daily expenditures and receipts book, 1894-1897; scrapbooks of clippings relating primarily to his ministerial career; and lantern slides used for religious lectures.
