Records, mainly 1931-1969, of several women's organizations associated with an Orthodox nursing home founded in 1906 as the Milwaukee Home for Aged Jews. The Women's Aid Society (1924-1962), the Ladies' Auxiliary (1930-1962), and the Women's Service League (1956-1968), the Women's Auxiliary and Aid (1962-1970), and the Women's Service Auxiliary (1970- ) were established to serve residents and help finance, operate, and maintain the home. Documenting their organization and activities are bulletins, bylaws, clippings, financial records, historical accounts, minutes, and photographs. Also included are a few files containing by laws, legal documents, minutes, financial statements, and publicity materials relating to the construction and general administration of the home. English
