Abstract:
Records of a Milwaukee lodge of the Polish National Alliance (Zwiazek Narodowy Polski), organized in 1912 and for many years open only to native born sons of Polish pioneers. Included in the collection of this fraternal and mutual benefit organization for Polish Americans are a minute book, registration books, cash books, administrative and committee records, insurance records, general financial documents, news clippings; and eulogies, obituaries, and funeral records of deceased members. The papers were collected by former president Roman B. J. Kwasniewski, who was responsible for writing and delivering many of the eulogies during this period. Most of the items are in Polish and date from the late 1920s to late 1940s. This lodge was also known as the Sons of Polish Pioneers.
