Abstract:
Records of a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, organization dedicated to promoting the preservation of Polish language and culture in America through speakers, meetings, and the publication of articles relevant to the Polish heritage in the Polish language newspaper Kuryer Polski. During World War II, the club also worked to counteract anti-Polish sentiment in the local press. The records consist of a scrapbook compiled by Yolanda Majkowska and Szymon St. Deptula, which includes correspondence, meeting minutes, membership lists, newspaper clippings, and a dues record book. Some of the materials are written in Polish.
