Abstract:

Scripts and theatrical materials collected by Elwin A. Strong, a theatrical manager associated with various local troups and touring companies in the Midwest including the Madison Civic Theatre, the Elwin Strong Select Players, and various Federal Theatre Project groups in Nebraska. Included are printed and mimeographed scripts distributed by play services and some scripts in handwritten form thought to be by Strong. Some include scripts for individual parts and property lists. Also included are scripts, advertising material, and sheet music distributed by the T.S. Denison Company for minstrel shows.
