Personal papers of 137 Wisconsin men and women who served in the armed forces during the Vietnam War and which were collected as part of the State Historical Society of Wisconsin's Voices of the Wisconsin Past publication project. Selections from the collection have been published as Voices from Vietnam. The collection includes letters, diaries, reminiscences, maps, military memorabilia, tape-recorded messages, photographs, and videotapes which present a wide range of experiences and a broad sampling of opinions and attitudes from a first-person perspective.
