Abstract:
Records of the African American Educators Association, a non-profit organization with the mission to monitor and participate in the activities of MMSD (Madison Metropolitan School District), MTI (Madison Teachers Incorporated), WEAC (Wisconsin Education Association Council) and NEA (National Education Association), in support of African American children and their community. The records include recorded interviews and transcripts, agendas, minutes, treasurer's reports, affirmative action reports, black caucus materials, incorporation papers and by-laws, membership materials, newsletters, surveys, and minority hiring and peer mentoring materials.
