Abstract:
Papers, 1934-1974, of Charles Walsh, consisting of correspondence, photographs, financial materials, and personal ephemera relating to Walsh, his extended family including his brother Kenneth and mother Margaret, and the Spotlight Players Theater group in Milwaukee. The letters relate to Walsh’s high school years, his years in the military during World War II, and his later life following the War during which time he helped found the Milwaukee Spotlight Players. Material relating to the Spotlight Players includes legal documents, member information, financial records, drawings of stage props and scenery, as well as a few scripts of plays performed by the group.
