Abstract:
Collected materials, mainly 1949-1951, of Sue Hackett, who attended Joy Camps in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin, consisting of scrapbooks with photographs, memorabilia, newspaper clippings, and songbooks and correspondence detailing her experiences at the camp. Later materials include a brief autobiography touching on the impact Joy Camps had in her life and biographical information about camp owner Barbara Joy. Also included is a compact disc and cassette recording of Hackett singing camp songs and talking about the camp.
