Abstract:

Records of Brian Rude, a Republican state legislator from Vernon County, Wisconsin, serving the 32nd District from 1982 to 2000, consisting of subject files, public relations, and campaign materials. The subject files include the Asian Trade Mission, Bicentennial Committee Commission, correspondence, case files, and speech files. The public relations material includes news releases and columns. Campaign materials include ads, brochures, questionnaires, memorabilia, postcards, financial reports, correspondence, contributions, political issues, speeches/interviews, and voting records/poll results. Also included are photographs of Rude and others and audio recordings of campaign appearances from 1984 and 1992 and his 1984 swearing-in ceremony.
