Abstract:

Primarily school district record books and teachers' registers. District record books, 1888-1891, contain proceedings of annual, regular, and special school district meetings, financial information, teacher contracts, and annual district census. The Library circulation record lists the name of the borrower, date of loan and return but does not list the title of the book withdrawn. Pupils' standing ledger contains monthly reports on students' attendance and scores in the various subjects. School registers, 1884-1949, contain each student's name, age, attendance record, record of visitors and notes about the curriculum. Volumes for 1884-1887 and 1888-1890 include a section showing each student's progress in the various textbooks and teacher's remarks. Volumes for 1896-1916 also give grades, and volumes for 1926-1949 include annual reports.
