Records, mainly 1920-2004, of Congregation Cnesses Israel, a Green Bay synagogue founded in 1898, as collected by the congregation historian, Marian Miller. The collection contains many histories of the beginnings of the Jewish community in Green Bay and biographical accounts and genealogical information about some of the early settlers, including Jacob Franks, John Lawe, and Annie and Maude Nathan. Information is also included about the founding members of the congregation, Azriel Kanter, Samuel Stern, and Willard Ornstein, and their families and descendants. English, Yiddish
