Abstract:
Civil case files appealed from the Calumet County Circuit Court to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The files contain materials used in Circuit Court trials, including affidavits, appeals, complaints, orders, transcripts of hearings and trials, and other legal documents. Nearly all the files contain a copy of the Supreme Court's decision, and some include evidence presented at the trials. After rendering judgment on a case, it was previously the practice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court to return the case files to their court of origin.
