Abstract:

Records of McDonald Davis & Associates, a Milwaukee advertising agency, concerning its work on behalf of Wisconsin Republican political candidates. Contains an incomplete run of Wisconsin on the Line (1965-1966), a newsletter published by the agency on state and national politics; and films, television spots and audio recordings of political advertisements (1964-1983), produced for various national and Wisconsin Republican candidates. The candidates include George Bush, Robert Kasten, Warren Knowles, Jerris Leonard, Richard Nixon, Jack Olson, Henry Schadeberg, William Steiger, Robert Warren, and others.
