Abstract:
Papers of Robert Benjamin, the prominent attorney who, with Arthur B. Krim, eventually headed United Artists. This series consists of files pertaining to his earlier activities as the representative of the J. Arthur Rank organization in the United States and the virtual president of Eagle-Lion. In addition to some very frank correspondence about company personalities, policies, and finances the file contains an extensive set of financial reports, balance sheets, and accounts payable pertaining to Eagle-Lion operations in the United States and to Pathé, its parent company.
