Abstract:
Meeting materials, 1990-1999, of the Juvenile Justice State Advisory Group, later known as the Governor's Juvenile Justice Commission, including minutes, agendas, reports and correspondence. The Juvenile Justice State Advisory Group advises the governor and the legislature on juvenile justice and delinquency prevention issues and is responsible for implementation of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as amended. Materials from 1996 consist of approved and denied grant applications for funding for community juvenile justice programs. Also included are recommendations of the State Advisory Group's Special Issues Committee, 1988, and cassette tape recordings of meetings, 1990 and 1996.
