Abstract:
Records of the Commission for the Study of Administrative Value and Efficiency (SAVE Commission), a commission appointed by Governor Tommy G. Thompson in 1993 to study government services and spending and to make recommendations on improved efficiency. Included are meeting minutes, correspondence and memoranda of Chairman James E. Burgess and Executive Director Jeff Smoller, reports submitted to the commission by governmental agencies and others, press materials, and fundraising information.
