Abstract:
Matthew Webster or "Captain Britain" is an undergraduate student at the University of Sheffield who took Making Comics 1 and Making Comics 2 with Jeff Butler in Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. He is a member of the online Making Comics Discord community, whose members posted their responses to the Inktober drawing challenge in October of 2022. He responded to the daily prompts with ink drawings of Batman because the Batman daily diaries exercise improved his figure drawing.
