Abstract:
Papers of a distinguished professor in the UWM School of Nursing. The papers largely document Werley's career, which she began in the 1940s, serving as an army nurse for over twenty years before moving into a second career in academia. In particular, the papers document Werley's early work with mass casualty planning and her later interests in nursing minimum data sets. Some items of a more personal nature are also found in the collection.
