Organized into three series: I. Manuscript Materials, Series II. Sound Recordings, Series
III. Graphic Materials. Series I, Manuscript Materials, is further arranged into subseries:
General files, Scandinavian files, Subject files, and Music folios. Series II, Sound
Recordings, is further arranged into subseries by format: Northland Hoedown audiotape reel
recordings and 45-rpm discs. The 78-rpm discs reside in Mills Music Library's 78-rpm Sound
Recordings Collection and a paper inventory resides in Box 28; LP discs have been separately
cataloged and reside in Mills Music Library LP collection. Series III, Graphic Materials,
mostly comprises photographs, numbered and loose in one flat archival box, along with a file
of postcards, and a file of photographic negatives. Separately, two large photographs are
contained in an oversize folder.
