The collection is a compilation of research on Dr. Erastus Wolcott. The majority of
the materials come from Dr. James Pick, who wrote a biography and also created an
exhibit on Wolcott in the early 1960s. Additional materials are from Jean Casper,
who was involved with the Lake Park Friends and their efforts to restore the statue
of Wolcott in Lake Park, Milwaukee in the early 2000s. The contents of the
collection focus on Wolcott’s life and medical achievements, and include
photographs, family genealogies, articles, and other contextual research
materials.
