Contents List
Container Title
Subseries: Osterhout, David
Scope and Content Note: David Osterhout (1971-1973) served as a legislative assistant and primarily handled issues related to the environment, specifically air and water pollution. Nelson actively sought to eliminate pollution of waterways from detergents and pollution from automobiles. He was also against the use of the Supersonic Transport (SST). Osterhout's files document Nelson's position on the aforementioned. Additionally, there is information related to the District of Columbia crime bill. Similar material can be found under John Heritage, Fred Madison, and Jeffrey Nedelman.
