: Writer has received a letter from Mr. Abbott of Mackinac asking for the particulars of Mr. Rousseau's death. States that Rousseau died near Lake Pepin while accompanying Louis Provencall to St. Peters. Would like Sibley to get affidavits regarding Rousseau's death from people who knew of it.
