The photos were originally arranged in photo albums. They were removed from the
albums to arrest the damage caused by being stored in an acidic environment. In the
albums the photos were arranged in no discernible fashion beyond being grouped under
churches and houses. The photos have been retained in their subject groupings but
have been reordered into alphabetical order within those categories.
