Scope and Content Note: This subseries contains the papers of Frederick Kurt Schaefer (1904-1953). They were donated to the AGS by his wife at an unknown time. Most of the papers deal with Schaefer's work in academia while he was at the University of Iowa. Also included are various writings by Schaefer.
