He is questioned about this by host John Wingate, but explains that he has the right to political privacy and that revealing the names of films he worked on would put others at risk. The two also discuss "Robert Rich," a possible pen name for Trumbo.

Scope and Content Note: The two discuss the revelation that Trumbo had been working under the pen name of "Robert Rich" and had received an Oscar while doing so. Also discussed is the current attitude of Hollywood toward the Blacklist. Trumbo also defends his decision not to participate with Congress when responding to outside questions from individuals who are generally pro-Blacklist.
